Social Butterflies Social Skills Class

When: Saturday 10:00am-12:00pm

Cost: $25.00/session

   Ages 5 - 12 years old

This group is specifically designed for children with Asperger's and high functioning autism who face difficult social challenges in school and other social environments.  This group focuses on identifying emotions and gaining the tools necessary to engage in friendships and social situations. 

 

Girls and Boys Teen group

When :Monday Evenings 6:30pm till 8:00pm  

Cost: $25.00/session

 Ages 12 and up

This is a social skills program designed for teens with aspergers, high functioning autism, ADHD, ADD,emotional handicap and anxiety disorders.

Our teen group is conducted in a safe environment to learn and practice relationship skills. We focus on strategies for initiating conversation and joining other peers, conflict resolution/problem solving, pragmatic language/conversational skills and understanding non-verbal cues. All of this is done in a fun and active format involving role playing.

 This group is lead by Alison Platt, BCABA and  a certified teen anger management facilitator
