When I donate to BTS, where do the funds go?
Donations to our school directly impact our students and their experience with us at Beyond the Spectrum. We allocate our earned funds to a number of areas, such as:
- Group therapies (speech, music, occupational, licensed mental health counseling)
- Technology for learning (iPads, laptops, Smartboards, etc.)
- Productive opportunities for learning and play (gym equipment, playground equipment, sensory toys, etc.)
- Field trips and community outings (bus maintenance and insurance, gas)
-Student safety (PPE products like masks, sanitizer, gloves, etc., traffic cones, precautionary signage, security systems, school construction/renovation, appropriate classroom furniture)
As a not-for-profit, support from our community makes a huge difference in what we can offer to our students. We appreciate any and all support!
100% of the profits from our ABA Therapy Clinic go directly back into the school to support the programs.
Beyond the Spectrum Gift Policy
We are grateful to be part of such a generous, philanthropic community and appreciate your consideration with your important gifts. We accept the following contributions to our programs:

Monetary gifts (major debit/credit cards, cash, checks, donor-advised funds, qualifying unique matching gifts via Louis & Gloria Flanzer Philanthropic Trust)

Matching gifts (corporate/organizational matching programs)

In-Kind Donations (services or items that improve the learning experience of our students and teachers)
Any other kinds of gifts, may require Board consideration and approval to ensure they align with our mission.
Mission-Empowered Areas of Interest
Beyond the Spectrum is currently seeking relevant resources to increase our capacity for program growth. We are highly responsive to and would be deeply grateful for support in the following areas:

Building maintenance/renovation (air conditioning units, pressure washing, driveway repairs, construction of an additional bathroom, campus speakers)

Adaptive learning technology (laptops, tablets, headphones, Smartboards)

Playground upgrades (seating, shading, outdoor enrichment activities)
-
Classroom supplies and enhancements from our Amazon Wish List
Donor Rights and Acknowledgement
Beyond the Spectrum recognizes our contributors' rights to be aware of our mission and how their gifts are utilized. We will honor all donors as they see fit and as appropriate, including but not limited to social media mentions, Board reports, press releases, email marketing, logos/names on our Partners column, named projects, or other reasonably requested means of acknowledgement.
All contributors reserve the rights to have their information handled respectfully and confidentially and to receive truthful answers regarding the usage of their donations. Contributors also have the right to request anonymity with their gifts if desired.
All gifts are tax-deductible!
Because Beyond the Spectrum is a non-profit organization and a recognized 501c3, all donations made to us are tax-deductible! After you make a donation, you can receive a letter from Beyond the Spectrum with our Tax ID listed on the bottom to reference during tax season.
